Nero 2017 refused to export it, in fact it would not move from the editing screen. I installed Nero Platinum 2017 and it seemed to install OK, I imported a file into it to work on and edited the file. My Nero 2014 always worked perfectly but I was keen to see what NEW features 2017/18 had. That is the way I've done what you're suggesting, and I've had universal success in this regard.I recently upgraded from Nero Platinum 2014 to 2017 and got 2018 when it was released as a bonus. You should be able to drag the folder you made in step 1 to this project as well. Add the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders created in step 3. In the startup panel, choose 'DVD' disc, then 9 DVD Video' beneath it. When exporting, instead of burning direct to disc, create to a DVD Folder. Create a slide show as normal, using the photos you added to the folder you made in step 1. Before creating the actual slide show, copy the image files you want to a new, dedicated folder. This is the method I've used, pursuant to my "files and folders the way God intended" ideology. There may be an official way using Nero MediaHome to streamline this process, but I didn't get that far in my testing. On the other hand, these steps work for basically any DVD authoring title. On the one hand, it's not as streamlined as one might like. Could you let us know if the problem is solved by installing the update?
